GroupM Nexus Responsibilities
The GroupM Nexus team adopt a collaborative and customer-centric
approach in delivering high value and innovative solutions for our Agencies’
and Agencies’ clients, including the activation and execution of dynamic
media campaigns.
Following are the responsibilities of the GroupM Nexus Buying team and
the varying degree of complexity is subject to individual job level:
  • Solid understanding of brand, deliverables and campaign KPI’s for
all assigned GroupM Agency’s clients
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve and enhance clients’
campaigns and advise GroupM Agencies accordingly
  • Proactively address, and when needed escalate, any issue that
compromises the quality and timeliness of deliverables
  • Conduct quality control and assurance of the own workstream
before handing it over to another team
  • Understanding and 100% compliance with finance processes and
GroupM policies and procedures
  • Ensure cross-functional collaboration by demonstrating openness
to new ideas and interest in learning from colleagues with different

Individual Responsibilities
  • Plan and buy TV and Non-TV media space and manage
relationships with key media owners
  • Independently and thoroughly perform TV and Non-TV campaigns
for the assigned portfolio of clients
  • Monitor, manage and report on clients’ budgets and campaign
  • Active and closely monitoring (daily, weekly, monthly) for the for
any client’s campaign
  • Ensure the best in class processes are adhered to for all campaign
  • Maintain day to day relationships with GroupM Agency Planners
and ensure timelines are adhered to and workloads are managed
  • Work closely with all team members to improve working efficiency
and effectiveness
  • Establish effective collaboration and trustworthy relations with
Television vendors
  • Regularly learn new tools and delivery technologies to maximize
campaign performance and deliveries
  • Provide actionable and insightful mid and post campaign reports to
improve in-flight optimizations and future campaign brief
  • Any other project or tasks as assigned from time to time

Mandatory Qualifications and Technical Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent diploma in disciplines as STEM,
Mass Communications, Digital Advertising/Media, Business Studies
or relevant experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel
  • Effective communication skills and ability to adjust to a fast changing environment
  • Team player - able to receive and provide feedback professionally,
thrive in a team environment and able to work collaboratively

Desired Skills, knowledge and abilities
  • Highly numerate, organized, with an ability to demonstrate
implementation and adherence to processes
  • Good understanding of analytical techniques and interest in
discovering insights from post campaign data
  • Strive for excellence demonstrated by a commitment to continuous
improvement, taking initiative and delivering results despite
  • Meticulous attention to detail and problem solving
