Job description

Job Profile Summary

Responsible for supporting the accounting, reporting and control (ARC) team, to ensure the integrity and effectiveness of transactional-financial accounting processes, internal control, financial reporting, and accounting systems.

Job Advert

  • Support the delivery of effective transactional accounting; from invoice processing up to payment monitoring
  • Resolve any invoices/cash issues and ensure the invoices workflow are working appropriately
  • Respond any queries from various internal and external stakeholders, include supporting any audit related to purchase to pay.
  • Support the period end close activities for purchase to pay process, bank reconciliation, intercompany transactions, VAT and WHT reconciliation and clearing,
  • Accountable for BP employee related transactions and government institution payments.
  • Prepare monthly reports to comply with internal and external stakeholders including SKK Migas, Bank Indonesia, BP Partner bank.
  • Perform Balance Sheet reconciliation


Education & Experiences
  • A Minimum of bachelor's degree in accounting with GPA >3.0
  • Maximum of 3 years' experience in accounting area (including internships).
  • Proficient in written and verbal English.
Required Criteria
  • Sound technical knowledge in basic-intermediate accounting; including posting schemes.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent written/oral communication skills, and ability to build effective working relationships.
  • Ability to keep deadlines whilst under pressure without compromising quality.
  • Work effectively as both individual contributor and team player (independent, proactive and assertive).
Preferred Criteria
  • Sound technical skill in IFRS, SAP FICO, and Production Sharing Accounting (PSA).
  • Proficiency in Ms. Office application, especially Ms. Excel
